Are you tired of walking on eggshells or yelling to be heard over the crying or angry outbursts? Come along and learn 3 practical, ready-to-use strategies for building emotional regulation in your child/ren, so you can have more cooperation and connection, as well as build your confidence.

Suzie has been a paediatric occupational therapist for 30 years. She is a mental health care clinician, award winning speaker, parenting education coach and the mama of two kids with big emotions. Suzie draws from her own personal lived experience raising her own wildlings, as well as significant training in occupational science, neuroscience and psychology alongside the privilege of extensive experience supporting thousands of families over her career in her heart-led, family-centred and science-based programs and is passionate about helping parents raise happier, healthier and more helpful humans.

About the Library

The Boronggook Drysdale Library building, opened in April 2023, features communal spaces, quiet study areas, an adult changing places facility, a green roof, an internal courtyard garden, a City of Greater Geelong customer service point and resource-efficient systems. The sustainable building is a welcoming and safe space open to all.
