Come join children's book author and illustrator, Caz Carter, and learn how to create your very own comic strip! All materials provided. Ages 8+

Come join Caz and create your very own comic strip!

Caz will share her easy steps to comic strip creation over a fun and engaging workshop. Each comic strip creator will be provided with a template and materials to use as a basis for the development of their comic strip that they can take home and proudly display.

The workshop is tailored for ages 8 years and up, and all abilities are very welcome and encouraged to come along and give it a go.

Caz is also the author of four published children’s books, ‘Get Out Ya Pluggers!’, ‘The Adventures of Fish Fingers’.  ‘Space Camp and ‘Sir Ice-Cream Knight’.

About the Library

Newcomb Library is a popular community gathering space and is situated within a busy shopping precinct. The branch features a range of services and facilities including public access PCs, free WiFi, zones for reading, study and working, and a large meeting room available for community hire. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and lifelong learning programs for adults are run throughout the year.
