Mix and Make: Longest Book in the World is part of a series of "making" sessions which encourage people to meet, mix and make in the library.

“The longest book in the world” is a multi-disciplinary arts project aimed at producing a concertina book - the longest book in the world. This will be a community made travel book focusing on popular, treasured, and personal landmarks within the boundaries of the City of Greater Geelong to produce the longest book in the world. Geelong aims to beat the last recorded length of a concertina book of 814.26 metres created by Yang Shuanming of in Taiyuan, Shanxi China in 2019 (as recorded in the Guinness Book of records).
