Experience some of the endless possibilities of the micro:bit micro-computer in this 4-week program. Learn coding skills while creating games, music and more. Recommended ages 8+.
The micro:bit is a handheld programmable micro-computer that can be used for all sorts of cool creations. This 4-week course is designed to progressively build on the skills developed each week.
By making a booking, you agree that you are able to attend all sessions.
Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.

Newcomb Library is a popular community gathering space and is situated within a busy shopping precinct. The branch features a range of services and facilities including public access PCs, free WiFi, zones for reading, study and working, and a large meeting room available for community hire. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and lifelong learning programs for adults are run throughout the year.
