These appointments are designed for you to discuss the suitability of your collection offer with a heritage collection specialist. They do not guarantee that your collection offer will be accepted.
We particularly welcome offers of heritage materials that provide a record of the diverse stories our region’s past. This includes First Nations, LGBTQIA+ and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

How we assess suitability:
Item type. We accept photos, written records, ephemeral materials, oral history recordings and similar.
Condition. The item must be in fair condition and free of mould and pests.
Please bring the heritage item(s) you are offering and any supporting information with you to your appointment. If there are a number of items, a sample is fine.
