Are you a beginner or intermediate creative person looking to connect with others who share your passion?
Meet other like-minded crafty paper people at this monthly junk journaling session. Join us to work on your own projects in a welcoming atmosphere.
A staff member will be on hand to offer guidance and help you enhance your skills in:
- unstructured junk journaling
- collaging with themes
- craft journaling
- basic ways to make a journal including binding
Please bring your own journal or exercise book.
All other materials including textas, scrap materials, glue, scissors and rulers are provided.

Lara Library
The Lara Library is conveniently located next to Austin Park, in a central community hub shared with the Maternal Child Health Centre, Lara Kindergarten and Lara Community Centre. The branch features zones for children and young people, study and reading areas, public access PCs, free WiFi and two Apple iMac computers. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
