Comic creators

Write your own comic book and learn all about the process in this hands-on, creative five-week program. Recommended age 8-12

What to expect: 

• This is a after school program facilitated by a library staff member with a maximum group size of 10. 
• Participants are required to attend all 5 sessions as they will follow on from one another. 
• Participants will learn about the various components of a comic book such as drawing techniques, script writing, onomatopoeia and lettering. 
• The program will culminate in participants producing their own short comic page. 
• There will be opportunities for participants to work together and share in discussions around comic books. 

Bookings and supervision: 
Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs. 
Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program. 
Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
