Experience fun and challenges in 'Game on!' Dive into board games, test skills and teamwork. Roll the dice, draw cards, and make your move! Recommended ages: 8-15

What to expect:

  • This is an after school program facilitated by a library staff member, with a maximum group size of 15 children. 
  • The program includes learning to play a variety of board and card games over the sessions.   
  • Children will be required to communicate with one another and work either individually or as a team in games.

Bookings and supervision:

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
  • Bookings not required. You can drop in on the day!

About the Library

Located in Torquay’s Surf City Plaza, adjacent to the Surf World Museum and Community Hall, Torquay Library is a popular community gathering space, particularly for families and holidaymakers. The branch features zones for reading, studying and working, a dedicated area for children, public access PCs and free WiFi. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and many events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
