Dancer and choreographer, Xavier McGettigan will guide you through a fun and energetic improvisation process to explore and express your individual COVID-19 experience. No dance experience required.

Join Xavier McGettigan as he guides you through a choreographic and improvisation process where you will explore and express your individual COVID-19 experience. With a focus on positivity and inclusion, this workshop will cover the difficulties, the successes, humorous moments and more through dance. In partnership with Borough of Queenscliffe.

Xavier McGettigan is a freelance choreographer, dancer, actor and musician. He is Director of Attitude Dance Company and has choreographed and directed multiple productions for the company as well as choreographed extensively for musical theatre.

** Please note - Participants will have developed a full work by the end of the workshop and the piece will be photographed and filmed as a single piece of work (start to finish). Images and film will be uploaded onto Geelong Regional Library Corporation's website. 

**Created works will be exhibited, photographed, and digitised images uploaded to the Geelong Regional Libraries website.

Event attendees will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption upon entry. Thanks for doing your bit to keep our community safe.
