Wondered what to plant to attract bees? Worried about the future of food as bees become threatened? Which honey should I buy or should I keep backyard bees? Come and learn how to be a bee warrior!
Join Eliza Peel, a local farmer who is on a mission to educate us all to protect bees and ensure our food security. Eliza will speak about spring plantings, responsible bee ownership and what we should be doing to protect and preserve our bee colonies. Eliza lives outside Inverleigh and farms a pollinator-friendly property, is involved with community bee-keeping groups and supports the Wheen Bee Foundation.
Join us in our newly refurbished courtyard for this informative and lively session. Wheen Bee Foundation planting guides free to attendees while available.
