The Geelong Heritage Centre staff are visiting the Drysdale library for the day. Drop in with family or local history questions to find out how the Heritage Centre can help with your research.
Join us for a day of local and family history fun. The drop in will be running all day. You can also join any of the below sessions;
10 am - Discovering Online Resources for Family History Research - Bookings required.
1 pm - Local History, Local Voices - view historical images of the Bellarine and district and meet other interested locals - No Booking required.
Between 1 pm and 4 pm - Book a one-on-one session with a specialist for 45 minutes for a more in-depth enquiry.
The Boronggook Drysdale Library building, opened in April 2023, features communal spaces, quiet study areas, an adult changing places facility, a green roof, an internal courtyard garden, a City of Greater Geelong customer service point and resource-efficient systems. The sustainable building is a welcoming and safe space open to all.
