The Library has a new online catalogue! Join us to learn and explore!

If you use and love an online tool it can be tricky keeping up when it is replaced by a new system. At the Torquay Library you can learn how to use the shiny, brand-new library catalogue. There are new and exciting features that will enhance your library experience.

We'll show you how to:

  • Peruse your borrower reading history
  • Find items that are on the shelves NOW!
  • Reset your own password
  • Update your own address and contact details
  • Find your next great read

Also manage your own library account including requesting and renewing items.

This program is proudly supported by the Victorian State Government's Digital Literacy for Seniors Program.

About the Library

Located in Torquay’s Surf City Plaza, adjacent to the Surf World Museum and Community Hall, Torquay Library is a popular community gathering space, particularly for families and holidaymakers. The branch features zones for reading, studying and working, a dedicated area for children, public access PCs and free WiFi. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and many events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
