This session will enable you to understand how to recognise scams that occur via phones, text messages and email.
You will develop an understanding of the different scams currently prominent and develop strategies to avoid being scammed when confronted by them.

Located in Torquay’s Surf City Plaza, adjacent to the Surf World Museum and Community Hall, Torquay Library is a popular community gathering space, particularly for families and holidaymakers. The branch features zones for reading, studying and working, a dedicated area for children, public access PCs and free WiFi. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and many events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
