How do we find where we are? With maps of course! Join us to discover how maps work. This is part of the Geelong Regional Libraries STEAM into the Library program. Age: 3-5
This session is part of a four week preschool program linking children’s fiction to STEAM concepts and activities. This sessions focuses on maps. Maps are help us find our way in the world. This could mean a street map to help us get around our city or help a pirate find where treasure is buried.
Bookings are essential to save your place in the program.
Please cancel your booking if anyone in your group is unwell on the day of the program, or if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.

Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.

The Lara Library is conveniently located next to Austin Park, in a central community hub shared with the Maternal Child Health Centre, Lara Kindergarten and Lara Community Centre. The branch features zones for children and young people, study and reading areas, public access PCs, free WiFi and two Apple iMac computers. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
