Please join Esther Gonstalla for Infographics in Science Communication! This exciting event is part of the Melbourne Design Week.
How do infographics help us communicate scientific findings, especially in the complex field of climate science? This session will talk about the importance of easy-to-understand infographics in a world of data overload. Esther will show what kind of infographics work well and what to look for when creating not just stunning visuals, but visuals that tell a story and educate. Examples of work will be shared from Esther's book 'The Ocean Book - How Endangered Are Our Seas' (Green Books, Cambridge 2019) with a focus on climate change.
