*This event has been cancelled - we apologise for any inconvenience *
In this introductory three hour workshop, we'll explore the common building blocks of musicals, examine how these have been applied to a variety of texts in a diverse range of genres, and then work together to plan our own musical adaptation of an existing story.
Guy Langford wrote and composed "Shortland Street - The Musical", a parody of New Zealand's longest-running soap opera, which premiered at Auckland Theatre Company. He has written solo theatre works as well as several plays for children.
Workshop aimed at beginner to intermediate level.
