It’s the summer of 2015, Greece is bankrupt and the country is in turmoil. It’s leaders are begging for debt relief and its citizens, unemployed or unpaid, are suffering severe austerity. Serious civil unrest is on the brink of exploding into anarchy as desperate migrants, fleeing war-torn countries, swarm into the country daily.

Christina Dudley has been writing stories for the past twenty years, creating tales and characters set in the places she knows and loves. For the last fifty years she has lived in Italy and travelled widely throughout the Mediterranean. She is married to renowned sculptor and painter Rod Dudley, and they now divide their time between Italy and Queenscliff in Victoria, Australia. Where Gods Once Walked is her first novel.
