Marina, travel writer and journalist, bathes at the Kaiafas thermal springs in Greece every evening ... Join us to hear about her adventures.

Marina, travel writer and journalist, bathes at the Kaiafas thermal springs in Greece every evening. There she has a chance encounter with the captivating Dimitri, a man of many surprises and passions – astronomy, art, Greek Antiquities and cuisine.  While bathing they talk and a spark of chemistry is ignited. Will this meeting go anywhere?

It’s the summer of 2015, Greece is bankrupt and the country is in turmoil. It’s leaders are begging for debt relief and its citizens, unemployed or unpaid, are suffering severe austerity. Serious civil unrest is on the brink of exploding into anarchy as desperate migrants, fleeing war-torn countries, swarm into the country daily.

This compelling story follows the couple through Greece which is in chaos.

What will happen to Marina and Dimitri? Will love flourish or wither in a country racked with crisis?

Christina Dudley has been writing stories for the past twenty years, creating tales and characters set in the places she knows and loves. For the last fifty years she has lived in Italy and travelled widely throughout the Mediterranean. She is married to renowned sculptor and painter Rod Dudley, and they now divide their time between Italy and Queenscliff in Victoria, Australia. Where Gods Once Walked is her first novel.
