This presentation will focus upon elements such as the structure of the army, ranks and promotion, enlistment and training, and a selection of the best reference books to find.
Steve Brown will talk about how the British Army of the 18th and 19th centuries differed from today, and how this translated to its service in the Australian colonies. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A with those attending.
