Local Word Writers Festival is an annual event of local writers presenting workshops, presentations and panel discussions for writers and readers.
A reflective and restorative invitation into the practice of writing for wellness. Designed for both new and experienced writers, this workshop will explore the therapeutic potential of expressive journal writing—a gentle, private space where words can release, reveal and heal.
The session is designed to be spacious, supportive and self-directed, with optional discussion around process—not content. It is ideal for people navigating change, managing stress or seeking more creative balance in their lives.
Linnet Hunter is an ontological coach, spoken word poet, author of capture & flight and co-author of a writer’s journal: seeds to sow inspiration. She delivers sought after coaching and workshops from Birregurra on Gulidjan country for artists and writers.
