Join us to celebrate Children's Book Week with a performance of original songs inspired by books! Written and composed by Juliana Kay in collaboration with choristers from Ensemble NORTH.
Ensemble NORTH, a group of senior choristers from NORTH Children’s Choir, brings the wonder of books to life through music in a special project with composer Juliana Kay. Through games, vocal improvisation, and collaborative composition, the young singers explore storytelling in a whole new way - turning words into melodies and imagination into song.
This special performance is brought to you by Bluebird Foundation, as part of the Children's Book Council of Australia Book Week.
Bookings are not required. You are welcome to drop in on the day!
Please note, the performance will last approximately 20 minutes.
Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
