To celebrate Wear it Purple Day, Colac Library with headspace Colac and the Trailblazers is hosting a week long pop up info space that has been co-designed by and for community members.
At GRLC libraries, we are committed to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for all. Wear it Purple Day is an annual day of significance in Australia, dedicated to celebrating and supporting LGBTIQA+ young people. By wearing purple and taking part, we show that everyone deserves to be proud of who they are and feel safe, supported, and included.

The Colac Community Library and Learning Centre is a modern, state-of-the art facility built in 2010 for the Colac district community. The centre accommodates the general community, Colac Secondary College students and other learning groups including TAFE and U3A students.
The Geelong Regional Library Corporation acknowledges the Wadawurrung People of the Kulin nation, and the Gulidjan and Gadubanud Peoples of the Maar nations as the Original Owners of the lands on which our library services operate. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and celebrate First Nations Peoples of this land as the custodians of learning, literacy, knowledge and story.
