Join us for the opening of the Purple Patch Pop-Up Space with a special address from a QHUB Geelong keynote speaker on creating safe and inclusive communities with Q&A. Refreshments provided.
To celebrate Wear it Purple Day, Colac Library, in partnership with headspace Colac and the Trailblazers Youth Reference Group, is hosting a week-long pop-up information and creative space co-designed by and for our community.
GRLC libraries are committed to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for all. Wear it Purple Day is an annual day of significance in Australia, dedicated to celebrating and supporting LGBTIQA+ young people. By wearing purple and taking part, we show that everyone deserves to be proud of who they are and feel safe, supported, and included.
Reminder to wear purple for the week in the lead up to August 29th. Bookings essential.
