Join Parent Pathways program Parent Mentor, Kelly Hyland, as she discusses Djerriwarrh's free program for parents and carers in the region wanting to plan their future.

Djerriwarrh's Parent Pathways is a free, voluntary and flexible program available for parents and carers in the region wanting to plan their future. Parent Mentors use a strengths-based approach to:

  • assist parents and carers to identify their future aspirations and education and employment goals that will lead to secure and fair work that fits with their caring responsibilities 
  • support parents and carers to access other services and supports to help them to care for their family and address their vocational barriers and non-vocational barriers 
  • support parents and carers to progress towards their identified goals
  • help parents and carers to access suitable employment

About the Library

The Boronggook Drysdale Library building, opened in April 2023, features communal spaces, quiet study areas, an adult changing places facility, a green roof, an internal courtyard garden, a City of Greater Geelong customer service point and resource-efficient systems. The sustainable building is a welcoming and safe space open to all.
