We will have a friendly Chatty Café person to have a chat with or you can take advantage of our collection, such as newspapers, magazines.

Relax, start a conversation and enjoy the space with others.

About the Library

The Lara Library is conveniently located next to Austin Park, in a central community hub shared with the Maternal Child Health Centre, Lara Kindergarten and Lara Community Centre. The branch features zones for children and young people, study and reading areas, public access PCs, free WiFi and two Apple iMac computers. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
