Join us and children all across Australia and New Zealand for National Simultaneous Storytime 2026! Recommended age: Preschool.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).

Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country. 

Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.

If you are booking for a School Group, please contact the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre on (03) 4201 0600.

Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.

Bookings close one day prior to the session. If you require assistance, please contact library staff.

Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
