What exactly is an ally?  And how do you know if you are being a good ally?

In this special Reconciliation Week, Boonwurrung, Wemba Wemba and Wergia Elder, Aunty Fay Muir, together with co-author, Sue Lawson, shares the importance of allies for First Nations people and what it takes to be an ally.

This is a Q&A event. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions.  Submit your questions when you register or ask live on the night! As Aunty Fay says, there is no such thing as a silly question.

Join us for an entertaining, thought-provoking conversation.  Light refreshments will be provided.

This is a National Reconciliation Week event #NRW2026

Book sales and author signings will be offered at the conclusion of the event.

If you need any assistance in order to participate in this event, please contact events@grlc.vic.gov.au at least two weeks prior to the event date.
