The Queenscliffe Literary Festival brings Australia's finest writers, thinkers, and storytellers to the Bellarine Peninsula.
Andy Griffiths, the Australian Children’s Laureate for 2026 and 2027, is passionate about connecting children to the power of books, reading and literacy.
In this final event of QLF 2026, get ready for a big, bookish burst of fun! Australian Children’s Laureate Andy Griffiths is passionate about connecting children to the power of books, reading and literacy. He’ll bring his unstoppable energy, wild imagination and signature humour to this lively, interactive session for kids, families and passionate readers of all ages. Expect hilarious stories, brilliant ideas, creative chaos and plenty of audience participation!
Tickets:
$30 includes entry and snacks for two kids and their adult (on sale from 10 September, 8pm)

Queenscliff Library
The Queenscliff Library is housed in a beautiful heritage building, built in 1887, and services the Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale communities, as well as holidaymakers. Located in the main street of this picturesque coastal village, the branch is a small but much-loved community space. Located next to the Visitor Information Centre and Queenscliffe Historical Museum, the library features public access PCs, free WiFi, study spaces and a large reading room. Regular Preschool Story Time sessions are held here.
