No brushes allowed! Have fun playing with paint by splashing, rubbing, dripping and printing in this creative session. Recommended age 5-8.

What to expect:

  • This is a school holiday program facilitated by a library staff member with an expected group size of 10-20.
  • The program will involve working with paint and may involve some messy elements.
  • Participants will learn about mixing colours and will experiment painting with different materials such as blowing through straws, stamping with cardboard tubes and using string.
  • There will also be a story reading component.

 

Bookings:

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
  • Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.
  • Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
  • Bookings close one day prior to the session.

About the Library

The Boronggook Drysdale Library building, opened in April 2023, features communal spaces, quiet study areas, an adult changing places facility, a green roof, an internal courtyard garden, a City of Greater Geelong customer service point and resource-efficient systems. The sustainable building is a welcoming and safe space open to all.
