Resilience - A year in Pictures is a pictorial roadmap chronicling my journey through the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Join me as I share my story of resilience from the perspective of my camera.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in early 2020, my life was looking promising. I was on a path of self-discovery and reconnection with my healthy self through writing and photography. Despite being an amateur in both fields, these creative pursuits were instrumental in nudging me towards a more balanced life direction while navigating recovery from a debilitating Eating Disorder (ED).
I had recently established a website, The Picture Healer, a creative space and platform that was enabling me to explore my place in the world through writing and photography. In doing so, unknowingly, I was leading myself to a safer and far more productive place mentally.
Resilience - A year in Pictures is a pictorial roadmap chronicling my journey through the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. My story is relevant for all; together, our individual stories of struggle reflect the experiences of our community and wider society. Resilience is about adjusting our vision and nurturing ourselves through times of challenge and change. Join me as I share my story of resilience from the perspective of my camera.
