Tired of all those weeds in your own backyard? Would you like to learn how they can become part of your next dinner?

Join Head Chef, Mike Jaques, from the fine dining restaurant Tulip of Geelong for a walk and talk event to forage and discuss edible weeds.

One lucky attendee will win an amazing dinner for two at Tulip to experience the 'Chef’s Menu'- to the value of $180*. Please book and attend to be in the running. Limited places available.

     

*Terms and Conditions

To be eligible to win:

  • You must attend the Geelong Regional Libraries event ‘Foraging for edible weeds’ at the Bannockburn Library on Saturday 1st April 2023
  • You must not be a member of staff at Geelong Regional Libraries or Tulip Bar & Restaurant.
  • Geelong Regional Libraries will provide the winner a voucher for Tulip Bar & Restaurant to the value of $180
  • The winner will be notified by email or phone by Wednesday 6th April 2023.
  • If the winner cannot be reached by email or phone by Friday 8th April, another winner will be selected.
  • Winner will be selected at random, and the decision will be final.

About the Library

This modern, welcoming library provides invaluable community space and library services to the area. The branch features zones for children and young people, study and reading spaces, an outdoor courtyard and meeting rooms for community hire. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, as well as events and programs for adults taking place throughout the year.
