Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic breathing. This immersive mindfulness relaxation begins the practice of 'pranayama' meditation.
Pranayama is the ancient art of yogic breathing techniques, used to regulate one’s energy, in preparation for meditation and integration of the physical elements of yoga. Yoga Nidra restores oxygen to the body and calms the nervous system, returning the mind-body to a state of equilibrium and stillness.
This session will teach breathing patterns and timing, as the foundation for regular practice in daily life.
