Part of the Summer Fun at the Library at the Torquay Library
Author of Past the Shallows; When the Night Comes; and There was Still Love, Favel Parrett is an award-winning author whose connection to the Surf Coast informs her writing. Her recent book Wandi is a novel for young readers, and this is now joined by her most recent release Kimmi: Queen of the dingos, as an ongoing tale of dingo survival.
Join us at the Torquay Library to hear Favel Parrett talk about her new book and the Dingo Sanctuary.
Located in Torquay’s Surf City Plaza, adjacent to the Surf World Museum and Community Hall, Torquay Library is a popular community gathering space, particularly for families and holidaymakers. The branch features zones for reading, studying and working, a dedicated area for children, public access PCs and free WiFi. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and many events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
