Learn coding skills with ScratchJr. Activities are fun and engaging, and designed for adults to experience with their child. Participants are requested to attend all sessions in this 4 week course.
This 4-week course is designed to progressively build on the skills developed each week, with parents and carers learning alongside their child. Participants are requested to attend all sessions. Ages 5+
Bookings are essential to save your place in the program.
Please be sure to make a booking for every person participating in this program (this does not include accompanying adults).
We ask that you please cancel your booking if anyone in your group is unwell on the day of the program, or if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
Bookings close one day prior to the session. If you require assistance, please contact library staff.
Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.

Waurn Ponds Library is located next to LeisureLink aquatic and fitness centre, over the road from Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre. The modern building features a children’s area on the ground floor with a semi-outdoor reading deck and family room. The first floor offers flexible areas for reading and study, and large non-fiction and young adult collections. Other features include public access PCs, free WiFi, coffee and vending machines, and a meeting room for community hire. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here.
