Join us for a green-thumb gathering - whether you're an avid gardener or just starting out, this event promises to be a celebration of community, sustainability, and all things garden-related.

Bring your surplus garden goodies—whether it's a bounty of tomatoes, fragrant herbs, or crisp cucumbers—to swap with fellow garden enthusiasts. It's a fantastic opportunity to diversify your harvest and discover new flavors straight from local gardens.

Our knowledgeable community growers will be on hand to share their wisdom, offering tips and tricks on cultivating your own edible oasis. From soil preparation to seasonal planting, there's plenty to learn for both beginners and seasoned gardeners alike.

Don't forget to explore our library's Seed Library, where you can browse and borrow seeds suited to our local climate and soil. It's a wonderful resource for starting or expanding your garden with a variety of plants tailored to thrive right here in Geelong.

The Geelong Food Assistance Network's (GFAN) primary purpose is to provide coordination of a regional approach to meet the needs of those experiencing food insecurity because of economic circumstances in the G21 region.
