Join our Speech Pathologist Anita Mills in a presentation focused on helping parents and carers to build their child's language and literacy development. Bookings Essential.

Meet your local speech pathologist, enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year 2024 winning books, and find out more about how you can support your child’s language and literacy development at home.

Bookings are essential to save your place in the program.

About the Library

The Lara Library is conveniently located next to Austin Park, in a central community hub shared with the Maternal Child Health Centre, Lara Kindergarten and Lara Community Centre. The branch features zones for children and young people, study and reading areas, public access PCs, free WiFi and two Apple iMac computers. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and programs for adults are also run throughout the year.
