Get creative and take a journey through a wildlife garden with the team from Bellarine Catchment Network.
This all-ages creative activity will involve educators from Bellarine Catchment Network taking participants on a journey through a wildlife garden: from the pollen in plants, the buzz of bees, the flap of bird wings and the scuttle of possums. Participants will use their creativity to bring plants, animals and physical features that belong in a wildlife garden to life and will use these to create a community mural. All materials will be provided and participants will receive brochures, posters and booklets to take home to help them build their own wildlife gardens.
Ocean Grove is the largest town on the Bellarine and boasts a long library history – a free library opened in the public hall in 1910 and our current library was opened as part of The Grove Centre in 1993. This busy library has frequent children’s activities enlivening the space and reflecting the diverse demographics of our community.
