Story Dogs are a volunteer organisation who aim to make reading fun for children so they become confident, lifelong readers. All dog teams are accredited and approved for this program. Ages 8+
Bookings are essential to save your place in the program.
Sessions are one on one with the child, the dog and their volunteer and for maximum 15mins each.
Please book for the children that is attending.
Story Dogs is an approved reading program and sessions will take place in a quiet part of the library. The dogs are kept on a leash at all times. Children are asked not to touch the dogs and to be guided by all instructions given by the volunteer.
Please cancel your booking if anyone in your group is unwell on the day of the program, or if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
Bookings close one day prior to the session. If you require assistance, please contact library staff.

About the Library
Ocean Grove is the largest town on the Bellarine and boasts a long library history – a free library opened in the public hall in 1910 and our current library was opened as part of The Grove Centre in 1993. This busy library has frequent children’s activities enlivening the space and reflecting the diverse demographics of our community.
