Speech pathologists work with children and families to help build the foundations on which literacy skills develop and help support a healthy transition into literacy. Come along to this year's Speechie Library Talk to meet your local speech pathologist, Kate Malcolm, enjoy a reading of one of Speech Pathology Australia’s Book of the Year 2025 winning books and find out more about how you can support your child’s language and literacy development at home.
There will be activities available for children and time to ask questions.

Leopold Library was opened in 2018 and is situated within the Leopold Community Hub. The branch offers a welcoming and bright space with zones for working, comfortable reading and activities. A dedicated technology makerspace provides opportunities to develop creativity, imagination and problem solving. Public access PCs, free WiFi, a large area for children and young people, coffee machine, meeting room for community hire and comfortable seating are further features of this branch. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here.
