Chrissie Bellbrae - The Romanov Secret
A Local Word Pop-Up Event
Thursday, July 02
2:00pm - 3:30pm
Following The Florentine Quilt, is Surf Coast author Chrissie Bellbrae's second historical novel, The Romanov Secret.
Chrissie’s dual narratives transport readers from past to present, inspired by a love of history and fascination with genealogy. Drawing on her forebears, Chrissie depicts women during times of social and emotional change. The result is characters who live far more remarkable lives than her ancestors experienced.
“From the opulence of Imperial Russia to the fashion scene of 1980s Melbourne, this sweeping family saga will entrance readers and keep them guessing until the very last page.”
Lisa Ireland, author of The Studio Girls.
