In 2026, we are celebrating the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s 80th year of the Book of the Year Awards. These awards have recognised the incredible talent and imagination that fuel the books our young readers cherish, and the creators who continue to shape our understanding of childhood, curiosity and compassion through story.
Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.
Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
