Make and play with puppets

Calling all puppeteers! Come and make your own puppet and have fun bringing your puppet to life using voices, stories and settings. Recommended age: Preschool
What to expect:
- This is a school holiday program facilitated by a library staff member with a maximum group size of up to 20.
- This is program aimed at preschoolers and will include reading stories, singing songs and making a puppet with craft materials.
- Participants will learn how to bring a puppet to life using different voices and movements and will have the opportunity to practice these skills with their own puppet and/or with puppets provided.
Bookings and supervision:
- Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
- Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.
- Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
- Bookings close one day prior to the session.

Leopold Library
Leopold Library was opened in 2018 and is situated within the Leopold Community Hub. The branch offers a welcoming and bright space with zones for working, comfortable reading and activities. A dedicated technology makerspace provides opportunities to develop creativity, imagination and problem solving. Public access PCs, free WiFi, a large area for children and young people, coffee machine, meeting room for community hire and comfortable seating are further features of this branch. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here.
