Join us for some family movie fun. BYO popcorn! Recommended age: 5+

What to expect:

  • Family Movie Time is a movie screening, held in a large multi-purpose room with a large projector screen and chair seating. 
  • Movies shown will be rated either G or PG. Please contact the library if you would like to confirm what movie is screening this month.
  • The group size varies between 5 and 25 participants, with a maximum number of 30.
  • It is a relaxed, welcoming environment; however we ask that noise is kept to minimum so that all participants can enjoy the movie.

Bookings and supervision:

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs. 
  • Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.
  • Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.

About the Library

This busy and vibrant branch serves Geelong’s northern suburbs. Highlights of this branch include zoned areas for study, reading and children’s activities, bilingual picture books, LOTE (Languages other than English) magazines, a learning English collection, World DVDs and a parenting collection. The library has a large meeting room for community hire, a range of accessibility features and a dedicated makerspace enabling discovery and creativity. Regular Baby, Toddler, Inclusive and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, as well as events and programs for adults taking place throughout the year.
