Active games - Winchelsea Community House

Move your body and play games in this active session. Learn how to stay safe and be a good sport. Recommended age: 5-8

This program is for young people in Winchelsea and surrounds, delivered by Geelong Regional Libraries in partnership with Winchelsea Community House. 

What to expect:

• This is a school holiday program facilitated by a library staff member with a maximum group size of 15.
• This is a very active session that involves a lot of movement games such as running, jumping, balancing and tossing. Participants will assess how they feel before and after being active by completing a visual chart.
• Participants will also play some warm-up activities, sing songs and learn about playing fairly.
• Hand out sheets about healthy living will be provided to take home.

Bookings and supervision:

• Children must be supervised by a responsible person (adult or carer) in our libraries and our programs.
• Bookings are recommended to save your place in the program.
• Please cancel your booking if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.
• Bookings close one day prior to the session.
