Djilaga Makers Room (Level 2)Bring a sprinkle of imagination for this two part workshop as we will bring to life a toy and create our own packaging!
Join us for our creative two-part workshop where participants will craft a polymer clay toy and learn to use the Mayku thermoformer to package their creation.
What to expect:
Session 1 – Make a Toy:
In the first session, participants will make a toy or sculpture out of Polymer clay.
Session 2 – Pack your Toy:
In the second session, you’ll create the packaging for the toy made in the last session; bring your completed packaging to life using the Mayku thermoformer! Learn how to create, cut, and apply the moulded form, design your backing template, and pack your toy into the completed packaging.
The program is facilitated by a library staff member and materials are provided.
