Do you make your friends laugh? Hone your comedy craft by joining this workshop with a professional comedian... and then perform for your family and friends! Ages 12-17.
The search is on for Australia's funniest teens!
Class Clowns, Melbourne International Comedy Festival's national comedy competition for young people, returns in 2022. For over 25 years, Class Clowns has been inspiring, engaging and elevating teenagers who are into making people laugh.
A free workshop (4-6pm), hosted by Geelong Regional Libraries, will be facilitated by a professional comedian and participants get a chance to rehearse and refine their comedy acts.
The workshop will be followed by a live performance at 7pm where comedians will perform in front of family and friends.
The funniest entrants go on to compete in state finals, with the winners invited to participate in the National Grand Final during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!
