Learn how to do some basic repairs or remakes to reduce your fashion waste. Ages 15+
Talk about alternatives to fast fashion, which has a huge environmental impact. The group will discuss ways to upcycle clothing, then learn how to darn a garment and some basic stitches for visible mending.
Bookings are essential to save your place in the program.
Please cancel your booking if anyone in your group is unwell on the day of the program, or if you are no longer able to attend so we can contact our waitlist.

Newcomb Library
Newcomb Library is a popular community gathering space and is situated within a busy shopping precinct. The branch features a range of services and facilities including public access PCs, free WiFi, zones for reading, study and working, and a large meeting room available for community hire. Regular Baby, Toddler and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, and events and lifelong learning programs for adults are run throughout the year.
