What is a poem, and how are they made? This workshop with poet, Jo Langdon, explores the power and magic of poetic language to transform everyday and ?ordinary? subject matters into magic! Ages 8+
Jo Langdon is a poet and fiction writer based on Wadawurrung land. Her two poetry collections are Glass Life (Five Islands Press/2018), and a chapbook, Snowline (Whitmore Press/2012), which was co-winner of the Whitmore Press Manuscript Prize. Jo will be a 2024 Creative Arts Fellow at the National Library of Australia this year, and her recent poems and short stories appear in journals including Cordite Poetry Review, Overland and Westerly.
