Contemporary Library Design - Exploring Biyal-a

Geelong Design Week is an annual event that celebrates Geelong's UNESCO City of Design status by offering a vibrant array of workshops, exhibitions, and talks. Over 10 days from 21 to 30 Nov, 2024.
This panel discussion will explore the unique design aspects of the new Biyal-a Armstrong Creek Library and in particular the incorporation of Wadawurrung cultural elements and stories into the design of the building, such as the living water narrative, as well as aspects of community programming and social activation for a new community.
