Join us at Corio Library to find out about existing housing services; services you may not have considered, or alternative services that can help you expand your housing opportunities.
This is your chance to connect with organisations providing housing support for people from all sections of the community, including youth, those aged 50+, first nations, people living in public housing and those experiencing homelessness. They include:
- Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care
- Barwon Community Legal Service
- genU Outreach
- Housing for the Aged Action Group
- Meli
- Neami National Towards Home+ Geelong
- Tenants Victoria
- Victorian Public Tenants Association
- Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative
They will be available to chat to you about what they do, how they can help you, and to discuss your particular needs.
In addition, there will be presentations from:

Housing for the Aged Action Group is an organisation specialised in the housing needs of older people. - 11:30am - 12:15pm Barwon Community Legal Service and Tenants Victoria
Learn about the Renter Stress Hub run by Barwon Community Legal Service, with the support of Tenants Victoria, and how they can help renters in crisis.
The Housing Information Fair is open to anyone looking for more information about their housing options, and gives you the chance to connect with services working in your area.

Corio Library
This busy and vibrant branch serves Geelong’s northern suburbs. Highlights of this branch include zoned areas for study, reading and children’s activities, bilingual picture books, LOTE (Languages other than English) magazines, a learning English collection, World DVDs and a parenting collection. The library has a large meeting room for community hire, a range of accessibility features and a dedicated makerspace enabling discovery and creativity. Regular Baby, Toddler, Inclusive and Preschool Story Time sessions are held here, as well as events and programs for adults taking place throughout the year.
