Gender inequality is still reflected in the gender pay gap, under representation of women in leadership, workforce segregation, and sexual harassment.  The State's Gender Equality Commission was established following Victoria's trail blazing Gender Equality Act, 2020, and plays a significant role in addressing these issues to build a better, fairer, and more equal future for all Victorians.

Hear about the Commission's achievements to date and its future plans and priorities from guest speaker, Commissioner Dr. Niki Vincent, who will deliver the inaugural oration for the Empowering Women 50/50 Network at this event, presented in partnership by Women in Local Democracy (WILD) and Geelong Regional Libraries.
